Point of view in AI video prompts: which docs use it

3 of the 24 models' docs use point of view: Google Veo, Higgsfield and Kling AI. A point-of-view shot shows what a character sees, putting the viewer in the character's place. As of 2026-09-25.

Inclusion rule. Models whose own docs define the word, list it as a command or preset, or use it in an example prompt. Order. Alphabetical by model name.

1How the docs use it

Google Veo defines it; Higgsfield lists it as a preset; Kling AI uses it in an example.

A word the docs define is one the maker explains to users. A command or preset is one the model is set up to perform on request. A word that appears only in an example prompt is one the maker shows working, without promising more.

The other 21 models' docs do not use it in the pages read: Adobe Firefly, Grok Imagine, HunyuanVideo 1.5, Leonardo Motion 2.0, LTX, LTX Studio and others.

For example, "POV shot as someone rides a rollercoaster."

2Camera language in a pipeline

Where “Point of view” has to be written by hand, SceneMixer's pipeline writes the shots; its guides explain:

For vehicle interiors the site sets it so every row is visible. Individual shots in the video still use their own angles.

A serialized vertical-video show (typically 60–120 seconds per episode, 9:16) where the cast, scenes, and footage are AI-generated.

3Neighbouring camera words

  • bird's-eye view: A bird's-eye or top-down shot looks straight down on a scene, turning it into something like a map.
  • shallow focus: Shallow focus keeps only a thin slice of the scene sharp, isolating the subject against a soft background.
