Directing note: pinning the last frame

A last frame fixes where a shot ends, which makes the next shot's start predictable. Most models on the register take one in some form. As of 2026-09-25.

Several keyframes go further, fixing the path as well as the ends.

A model that takes only a first frame leaves the ending to the prompt.

2The film language, written for you

Where “Pinning the last frame” has to be written by hand, SceneMixer's pipeline writes the shots; its guides explain:

A short drama episode has two jobs: stop the scroll in its first seconds, and make the next episode feel necessary in its last.

SceneMixer writes dialogue into the script analysis, assigns each line to a shot with a speaker and a short delivery note, and the video model performs it — picture and audio generated together, so the mouth forms that sentence in the language you chose.
